If you're ready to submit your Christian music but don't know where to start, you're in the right place. I'm not a marketing expert. I'm not some industry insider with a secret formula. I'm an indie gospel artist just like you, releasing music independently and figuring it out one step at a time.
But here's what I can tell you: submitting my music to playlists has helped my music reach new listeners. While I strongly believe that it’s not about numbers at all, it’s about bringing glory to Jesus through your music. Still, there are things you need to do so that people can actually hear the music, and it doesn't just go out into the void where no one ever hears it outside of your friends and family. Once I started submitting my music to outlets, I’ve seen real change.
So I want to share what's working for me. Keep in mind that at the moment I’m working on a project close to my heart and on my own timeline, so my goal isn't rapid-fire releases.
Here are 10 Christian Spotify playlists and music media platforms currently accepting independent artist submissions — including mine.

1. Authentic Christian Culture — Donielle Houston
I'll start here, because it's mine and I want to be upfront about that. I started this playlist to share great Christian music and help listeners discover artists creating music that actually points people to Jesus. Worship, gospel, CCM, Christian hip-hop, Christian R&B — all welcome.
It’s new, and I expect it to grow. I personally listen to every submission. No bots. If it's a fit, I add it and let you know. If it's not this time, don’t stop creating!

8. SubmitHub
SubmitHub lets you submit directly to hundreds of playlist curators, bloggers, and radio stations at once. You can filter by genre and find Christian-specific curators. Some curators are free to pitch; others require credits. It's a tool I use and recommend.

9. Groover
Similar to SubmitHub, Groover connects artists with curators and guarantees a response within 7 days, which is honestly more than most platforms promise. A real paid tool, but it takes the guesswork out of whether anyone actually heard your submission.

10. Your Own Outreach List
This one doesn't have a URL — but it might be the most important one on this list.
The artists who consistently get playlist placements aren't just submitting once and hoping. They're building a personal database of curators, tracking who responded, when they submitted, and what the outcome was. Over time, that list becomes one of your most valuable release assets.
I built myself a Submission & Contact Directory for exactly this reason. It's part of my free Indie Christian Artist Release Kit — a Google Sheet that helps you track every outlet you pitch, keep notes on responses, and build your directory as you go. It comes with a starter list of outlets I've personally submitted to.
If you want a place to keep all of this organized, grab the free kit here.

Before You Submit Your Christian Music Anywhere, Read This
Your song needs to already be live on Spotify for most of these. Some curators won't consider unreleased music, but many on Groover and Submithub will. Give your submission a real shot — include a direct Spotify link, a brief, honest note about what the song is and who it's for, and keep it short. Curators are people with inboxes just like yours.
And then submit, move on, and keep creating. Don't wait around for a response before you send the next one out.
The music you're making matters. Someone needs to hear your story and how Jesus has changed your life.
