I’ve been sitting with this song for a long time, and it finally feels like the right season to share it.
Over the past few months, my family and I have been walking through a season of grief and loss. In the middle of that, I found myself writing again and bringing everything honestly to Jesus.
What started as one song became a full project. Roses for Shiloh EP was formed in that place, and “Gold” is the first single.
This song is about walking through the fire and trusting that God is refining us in it. The Scripture inspiration comes from James 1:2, Romans 12:2, 1 Peter 1:6–7, Malachi 3:2–3, and Daniel 3:19.
For the first time, I also produced my own music. This EP is completely self-produced. Learning the process stretched me, challenged me, and gave the whole experience deeper meaning. For the music tech people who are interested, I produced this in Logic Pro 🙂.
Some of you may have heard “Gold” live in past years. This is the first time it’s being officially released.
March 6 — available everywhere.
If this message resonates with you, pre-saving the song is the most powerful way to support it right now. It tells the streaming platforms to deliver it to your library the moment it releases, helps boost it in the algorithm on day one, and increases the chances of it reaching more listeners who need this reminder.

Thank you for being part of this journey.
