My Approach to Honorarium and Service Fees
Thank you for considering me for your event or project! I deeply appreciate your interest in partnering with me to share God’s love and grace through music and ministry. As you may know, I don’t have a set fee for my engagements. Instead, I prefer to provide a customized price quote based on the specific needs and circumstances of each request. This approach allows me to consider every invitation with prayerful discernment.
What is an Honorarium? An honorarium is a financial gift that you offer to show appreciation for my ministry and time. This amount is entirely up to you and is not a requirement for me to consider your request. I believe that all gifts come from God, and I am committed to serving wherever He leads—whether that’s at a large event, a small gathering, or something in between.
Why We Ask for an Honorarium Estimate When you fill out the booking request form, you’ll be asked to enter an honorarium amount. Please don’t feel discouraged by this! This information simply helps me understand what you’re able to offer, but it does not determine whether or not I will accept your request. I genuinely consider all opportunities to minister, regardless of the honorarium amount.
Seeking God’s Guidance While I do receive honorariums, I also take engagements for free after seeking the Lord’s guidance. This is something I’ve done in the past, and I continue to do so as I feel led. Your financial gift is important, as it helps me fund recording projects, but it’s not the only factor I consider. My primary goal is to serve God and His people in the best way I can.
Protecting My Ministry In the past, I’ve encountered situations where I was taken advantage of, which is why I’ve implemented this policy. By having a clear understanding of what you can offer, I’m better able to manage my time and resources, ensuring that I can continue to serve with integrity and joy.
Final Thoughts Please remember, every invitation is precious to me, and I approach each one with care, prayer, and a genuine desire to serve. Whether you’re able to provide a generous honorarium or not, know that your request will be given full consideration.
